Tell us what feels possible.

Money is the first worry for most families. Here is how students pay for a degree abroad, and how we help you plan for it without surprises.

Education loans: banks and lenders, with or without collateral.

Public-sector banks lend through the Vidya Lakshmi portal and the PM-Vidyalaxmi scheme. Private banks and specialist lenders such as Avanse or Credila also lend to students. Collateral-free loans are available up to a limit. Above that limit, banks usually ask for property or a guarantor. We explain the documents each lender asks for and we help you apply. We are not a lender, and this help is free.

Scholarships: university awards, government schemes and merit money.

Most of the money available to students comes from the university itself. This includes automatic merit awards, country scholarships and discounts for paying early. A few government schemes also exist for particular countries. We tell you, course by course, what you can apply for and when the deadline falls.

Bihar Student Credit Card: a state scheme worth asking about.

The Bihar Student Credit Card scheme offers low-cost education loans to residents of Bihar. Whether a course abroad qualifies depends on the current rules, and those rules change. Ask us, and we will check the official position for your case before you rely on it.

What we know

The full cost: tuition is only part of the number.

You also need to plan for living costs, the financial requirement for the visa, health surcharges, flights, a deposit, a laptop and the first month of rent. Every destination page on this site shows tuition and living ranges as estimates, with the month we checked them. Before you decide, we give you one sheet with the whole picture.
