Bihar Scholars began with a simple observation. The students with the biggest ambitions were receiving the worst advice. We decided to change that.
Fifteen hundred years ago, students crossed mountains and seas to study at Nalanda. Bihar was where the world came to learn. That history still shapes the way families here think about education. Early every morning, classrooms across the state fill with young people who believe that one examination can change their family’s future. Many of them are right.
Some of those students look further afield. They think about Leeds, Toronto, Munich or a medical college overseas. That is where the process often goes wrong. As soon as a family starts asking about studying abroad, they meet people who want their money first and their trust never. Fees are collected before any work is done. Offer letters turn out to be fake. A visa is described as “guaranteed” by someone who cannot spell the name of the university.
What should be a straightforward process becomes a struggle, and most families have to manage it on their own.
We built Bihar Scholars to take that work off the family. The decisions stay yours. The forms, the follow-ups and the questions about money become ours. You can see every step on your journey page, from the first call to the day you arrive. The guidance is free for students.
